Appoints Ajay Jain as Execution Unit Head (Grid Technologies - Transformers)

Siemens Energy India announced the appointment of Ajay Jain as Execution Unit Head (Grid Technologies - Transformers) with effect from 05 October 2026.

Jain is a seasoned business and operations leader with over 30 years of experience in large-scale manufacturing, business operations and P&L leadership within the Power Transformers industry. Jain has been associated with CG Power and Industrial Solutions for over 3 years, serving as Vice President - Transformer Business, where he led a multi-plant Transformers business with full P&L responsibility. Previously, Jain held various senior leadership roles at Hitachi Energy India and GE T&D India, with responsibilities spanning profitability, customer satisfaction, market share and operational excellence.

Jain holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Power Systems from Punjabi University, Patiala.
