Economic Buzz: Eurozone composite PMI at 41-month high in September

The euro area business activity improved in September, with the composite Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) landing at 53.1, up from August's 52, and reaching a 41-month high, S&P Global said in its final report on Monday.

Meanwhile, the Services PMI Business Activity stood at 53 in September, up from 51.6 recorded in August and hitting a 10-month high. The report showed that input costs and prices charged both rose to the greatest extents since May, with new orders from foreign clients rising at the sharpest rate in over four-and-a-half years.
