TARIL climbs after bagging two large transformer orders

Transformers and Rectifiers (India) (TARIL) rose 4.10% to Rs 292.10 after the company received two separate domestic orders from Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) and Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation (GETCO).
The order from DVC involves the manufacturing and supply of 500 MVA and 200 MVA auto transformers along with related work. The order is classified as a large order under the company's policy, with delivery scheduled over 15 to 28 months.

The second order, from GETCO, covers the manufacturing and supply of 80 MVAR and 125 MVAR shunt reactors, 500 MVA auto transformers and related work. The order is also classified as a large order, with delivery scheduled over 24 to 30 months.

The company did not disclose the value of either order. Under its order classification policy, a large order has a value of more than Rs 100 crore and up to Rs 500 crore, excluding GST.

TARIL said neither the promoter group nor group companies have any interest in the entities awarding the orders. The orders are in the normal course of business and do not constitute related-party transactions.

TARIL is one of India?s leading manufacturers of power, distribution, and specialty transformers, offering a comprehensive portfolio ranging from 5 MVA to 1000 MVA and up to the 1200 kV class.

The company?s consolidated net profit declined 8.66% to Rs 61.52 crore despite an 8.13% increase in revenue from operations to Rs 572.34 crore in Q1 FY27 over Q1 FY26.
