Mahindra & Mahindra's tractors sales decline 21% in Sep'26

Mahindra & Mahindra Farm Equipment Business achieved tractors sales of 52,100 units in month of September 2026 compared to 66,111 units, recording a decline of 21%. Domestic tractors sales declined 23% to 50,208 units while exports rose 62% to 1,892 units during September.

Commenting on the performance, Veejay Nakra, President - Farm Equipment Business, Mahindra & Mahindra said ?We have sold 50,208 tractors in the domestic market during September 2026. The year-on-year decline in volumes is primarily attributable to the festive season shift, commencing in October this year, as compared with September last year. The comparison is also impacted by a higher base in September 2025, which benefited from the implementation of the GST rate cut during the period. In the exports market, we have sold 1,892 tractors.?
