Economic Buzz: UK annual house price growth down to 0.8% in September

House prices in the United Kingdom decreased by 0.8% in September, the latest Nationwide House Price Index published on Thursday showed. The figure fell from August, when it stood at 1.6%.

The report said the average price, not seasonally adjusted, fell from ?275,465 to ?274,251, while the monthly index was 548.3.
