Economic Buzz: US house prices up 0.3% in July

House prices in the United States grew by 0.3% in July from the previous month, according to a report by the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) published on Tuesday. Year-on-year, prices were up by 2.6%.

The highest monthly increase was recorded in the Middle Atlantic division at 1.5%, while the biggest drop in prices was seen in the Mountain division at 0.8%. Annually, the Middle Atlantic division also led the gains at 6.3%, while the Mountain division was at the bottom of the list, with a price rise of 0.6%.
