Azad Engineering jumps after inaugurating two facilities for GE Vernova
Each of the two new facilities spans 7,600 square metres. They will manufacture highly engineered rotating and stationary airfoils and specialised machined parts for GE Vernova's global requirements in the power generation and essential industries.
The stock had declined 0.13% to settle at Rs 2,726.15 on Monday amid a broader market sell-off.
Azad Engineering manufactures mission-critical components for the energy, oil & gas, and aerospace & defence sectors. The company serves global OEMs in more than 11 countries and is a qualified manufacturer of nuclear turbine airfoils in India.
On a consolidated basis, Azad Engineering's net profit rose 20.29% to Rs 35.75 crore while net sales rose 25.90% to Rs 172.60 crore in Q1 June 2026 over Q1 June 2025.
