Commodities Buzz: Marginal increase in Silver net speculative longs

Precious metals speculators marginally added to their net long positions in the Silver futures markets last week after recent declines, according to the latest Commitment of Traders (COT) data released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The non-commercial futures contracts of Silver futures, traded by large speculators, hedge funds and retailers, totaled a net position of 25444 contracts in the data reported through September 22, 2026. This was a weekly rise of 118 net contracts and pulled up net longs slightly up from one-month low.
