PC Jeweller achieves debt-free status; repays outstanding debt of 14 banks

PC Jeweller said that the company has successfully discharged the remaining outstanding debt of the banks and has achieved its financial objective of a debt-free status.

In a regulatory filing made post market hours on Friday, the company further said that with the latest repayment, the company has successfully discharged all the outstanding debt of all the 14 consortium banks under the terms of settlement agreement dated 30 September 2024 with all repayments completed ahead of scheduled due dates.

The accomplishment of a debt-free status will materially strengthen the company?s balance sheet and financial position, PC Jeweller said in a statement.

PC Jeweller is engaged in the manufacture, retail, and export of jewellery. The company offers a wide range of gold, diamond, silver, and gemstone jewellery, including bangles, rings, bracelets, and necklaces, catering to bridal, occasional, and daily wear requirements. It operates across 12 states through a mix of company-owned and franchisee-owned showrooms.

The company had reported 37.02% rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 221.88 crore on a 20.99% increase in revenue to Rs 877.04 crore in Q1 FY27 as compared with Q1 FY26.

The scrip fell 1.35% to currently trade at Rs 13.93 on the BSE.
