Economic Buzz: German ifo business climate improves in September

The German business climate continued to improve in September, rising by 1.1 points to 89.9, the Institute for Economic Research (Ifo) said in a report released on Thursday.

The Current Assessment Index climbed by one point from the previous month and reached 89.5. Meanwhile, the Expectations Index advanced by 1.4 percentage points from August to stand at 90.4 in the reported month.
