Copper eases after hitting record high

COMEX Copper futures eased after hitting near record highs yesterday. The metal is currently down 0.22% at $6.82 per pound. Asian markets mostly fell today. China's Shanghai Composite index eased 0.39%. Hong Kong?s Hang Seng index fell 1%. European stocks were also lower with German DAX dipping half a percent on the day. The US stocks turned a mixed performance yesterday as lack of major economic releases kept the activity limited. MCX Copper futures are down 0.31% at Rs 1410.70 per kg after hitting highs around Rs 1415 per kg.
