Economic Buzz: Eurozone business activity improves in September

Private sector activity in the Eurozone expanded at a slightly faster pace in September, with the Composite PMI Output Index rising by 1.1 points from the previous month to stand at 53.1, hitting a 41-month high, S&P Global revealed in its preliminary report published on Wednesday.

The Services PMI Business Activity Index also expanded at a faster pace in the reported month, climbing by 1.4 points to 53 and reaching a ten-month high. Meanwhile, the Manufacturing PMI Output Index remained unchanged at 52.7 in September.
