Economic Buzz: German business activity rises in September

Germany's private sector activity expanded at a faster pace in September, with the Flash PMI Composite Output Index landing at 53.8 points, rising when compared to 51.8 in August and reaching an 11-month high, S&P Global revealed in its preliminary report on Wednesday.

The country's Flash Services PMI Business Activity Index improved by 3.2 points to 52.9 in the reported month, while the Flash Manufacturing PMI decreased by 0.7 points to 56.6, reaching a 2-month low. Meanwhile, the Flash Manufacturing Output Index worsened by 0.5 points to reach a 2-month low at 53.8.
