Economic Buzz: Eurozone consumer confidence worsens

The consumer confidence indicator in the euro area was negative 16.5 points in September, deepening further from a negative 15.9 points recorded in the previous month, according to the European Commission's preliminary report published on Tuesday. For the entire European Union, the consumer confidence indicator worsened to negative 15.8 points, from negative 15 in August.
