MCX Evening Update: Gold down half a percent, Silver gains in intraday moves

MCX Gold futures failed to sustain on higher levels and pulled back from around Rs 154000 per 10 grams today. The counter currently trades at Rs 153644 per 10 grams, down 0.48% on the day with a modest drop in open interest. Silver cut losses in late afternoon trades and currently quotes at Rs 241755 per kg, up marginally on the day.
