MCX Evening Update: Precious metals up around 1%

Precious metals stayed well supported today after recent set of losses. MCX Gold futures are currently trading at Rs 152174 per 10 grams, up 0.91% on the day after hitting highs above Rs 152500 per 10 grams. MCX Silver futures are up 1.33% at Rs 235200 per kg after hitting highs around Rs 236100 per kg. Silver has mostly been in a range after opening higher and the open interest in the counter has seen a modest decline.
