Economic Buzz: Japan BOP trade deficit at ?399.9B in July

Japan's trade deficit on the balance of payments (BOP) basis widened to ?399.9 billion in July from the previous month's deficit of ?135.2 billion, the country's Finance Ministry said in a preliminary report Tuesday.

Exports went up by 24.1%, while imports increased by 25.9% from the same month a year ago.
