Base Metals Preview: COMEX copper holds around $6.65 per pound mark

COMEX Copper futures snap three day winning streak and are currently trading at $6.64 per pound amid choppy moves on Monday morning in Asia. Asian stock markets are mixed on Monday, following the negative cues from Wall Street on Friday, as traders remain concerned about rising crude oil prices and related inflationary pressures after reports the US and Iran exchanged strikes on ships over the weekend. The outlook for interest rates also remained concerning following the release of much stronger-than-expected U.S. jobs data for August.
