MCX Evening Update: Bullion futures melt around 2%

Bullion futures stayed under stress. MCX Gold is down 2% at Rs Rs 152042 per 0 grams, losing ground very heavily after a strong show by the US nonfarm payrolls data. The counter had moved in a sideways range throughout the day before this slide. MCX Silver has lost 2.23% at Rs 236934 per kg, adding to losses after failing to hold above Rs 241K mark today.
