MCX Evening Update: Gold garners excellent gains

MCX Gold futures jumped in tune with global prices though firm Indian Rupee capped upside to some extent. MCX Gold futures are trading at Rs 154830 per 10 grams, up 1.59% and adding to gains on every modest declines. The counter fell near Rs 153500 mark twice today. Meanwhile, the Indian rupee extended its upmove, hitting more than two-month high .
