Economic Buzz: Australian services activity expands at softer pace in August

Australia's services industry expanded in August, with the headline figure reaching above the neutral 50 threshold, S&P Global said on Thursday.

The seasonally adjusted S&P Global Australia Services PMI Business Activity Index came in at 53.2 in August, easing slightly from the previous month's 53.6. The composite PMI landed at 52.7 in August from 53.2 in July.
