MCX Evening Update: Heavy losses in bullion futures, Silver tumbles 1.70%

MCX Gold future extended losses today as weak global cues and worries over an import duty cut weighed on sentiments. MCX Gold futures are currently trading at Rs 152161 per 10 grams, down 1.50% on the day with a modest decline in open interest. MCX Silver is also down 1.70% at Rs 236000 per kg after falling near Rs 235000 per kg in intraday moves.
