Agri Buzz: Domestic farm sector growth eases to 3.6% in Q1FY27 compared to 4.4% in previous quarter

India?s farm sector growth is easing. Latest data showed that Agriculture, livestock, forestry and fishing together saw 3.6% expansion in Q1 of 2026-27, compared with 4.4% in the corresponding quarter of 2025-26. The sector's real GVA increased from Rs 11.97 lakh crore in Q1 of 2025-26 to Rs 12.41 lakh crore in the latest quarter.
