Economic Buzz: US weekly employment up by 11,750; reports ADP

The United States added an average of 11,750 jobs per week in the four weeks ending August 8, according to a report posted by Automatic Data Processing Inc. (ADP) on Tuesday.

ADP shared that this was the second straight week of hiring increasing. The previous week's average came in at 9,500. The company further mentioned that, as the results are preliminary, they could change.
