Heranba Industries spurts as Q1 PAT rises 17.1% YoY
Profit before tax increased 80.76% YoY to Rs 20.10 crore in Q1 FY27, compared with Rs 11.12 crore in Q1 FY26. The company turned profitable at the PBT level from a loss of Rs 68.03 crore in Q4 FY26.
Total expenditure declined 19.54% YoY and 3.31% QoQ to Rs 356.04 crore. Raw material consumed declined 27.44% YoY to Rs 256.98 crore. Employee expenses increased 5.39% YoY to Rs 29.53 crore. Interest expense increased 11.77% YoY to Rs 12.91 crore. Depreciation increased 2.81% YoY to Rs 21.94 crore.
Separately, Heranba Industries said its board has approved a further investment of up to Rs 25 crore in its wholly owned subsidiary, Mikusu India, through a rights issue. The investment will be made in cash to support Mikusu India's business operations and growth plans. Mikusu India is engaged in the trading of agrochemical products and recorded turnover of Rs 182.68 crore in FY26, up from Rs 152.40 crore in FY25 and Rs 92.91 crore in FY24. There will be no change in Heranba Industries' 100% shareholding or control in the subsidiary.
Heranba Industries is engaged in the business of manufacturing, selling, distributing, purchasing and dealing of insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, weedicides and public health products (general insect control, larvae and vector control, termite contol, fogging and indoor residual spray).
