Sandur Manganese forays into hospitality with new wholly owned subsidiary

Sandur Manganese & Iron Ore announced that it has incorporated Royal Sandur Hospitality as a wholly owned subsidiary in India, marking the company?s entry into the hospitality sector.
Royal Sandur Hospitality has been incorporated to carry on the business of hospitality including but not limited to development, ownership, operation and management of hotels, resorts, serviced apartments, restaurants and allied establishments.
Sandur Manganese & Iron Ore holds 100% of the equity share capital of the subsidiary. The company has subscribed to 10 lakh equity shares of Royal Sandur Hospitality with a face value of Rs 10 each, aggregating to an investment of Rs 1 crore.
Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores is the flagship company of the Karnataka-based Sandur Group. It is involved in the mining of low-phosphorous manganese and iron ore in the Hosapete-Ballari region of Karnataka.
The company reported a 36.28% jump in consolidated net profit to Rs 227.09 crore on 21.09% increase in net sales to Rs 1,374.78 crore in Q1 FY27 over Q1 FY26.
Shares of Sandur Manganese & Iron Ore rose 0.96% to close at Rs 198.95 on the BSE.
