MCX Evening Update: Gold sees impressive surge, Silver shines as well

MCX Gold futures saw excellent gains today, soaring well above Rs 160k mark. The counter currently trades at Rs 161400 per 10 grams, up 1.24% on the day and approaching to Rs 162k mark. Open interest in the counter is up around 3%. MCX Silver also spiked 1.47% to trade at Rs 246820 per kg after topping around Rs 248k per kg.
