MCX Evening Update: Gold sees modest gains, Silver in red after dropping more than 2% in last session

MCX Gold futures cut losses today and moved up steadily in afternoon. The counter had tested a low near Rs 153400 per 10 and currently trades at Rs 154667 per 10 grams, up 0.26% on the day. Not much of a change is seen in open interest. MCX Silver is down 0.44% at Rs 231680 per kg but are off lows near Rs 228000 per kg. The counter lost more than 2% in last session.
