Copper in red but up around 2% this month

COMEX Copper futures eased today but held just above its one and half week low. The red metal is currently trading at $6.58 per pound, down 0.30% on the day. Asian stocks saw mixed activity today. China?s Shanghai Composite index was flat while Hong Kong?s Hang Seng index fell 1.10%. Japan?s Nikkei 225 index rose 0.59%. European markets are witnessing right moves though German DAX is witnessing good uptick. Risk appetite is generally supportive though and Copper is up around 2% this month. The US stocks hit all-time high Thursday following signs that inflation is getting softer. MCX Copper is down 0.12% at Rs 1374.15 per kg.
