Agri Buzz: All India rainfall 12% below long period average this season

According to a latest update from India Meteorological Department or IMD, during the past week (06th to 12th August 2026), rainfall was normal over the country as a whole (16% below Long Period Average (LPA)). Cumulatively from 1 June to 12 August 2026, the country as a whole had rainfall under the normal category, i.e., 12% below of LPA.
