COMEX Copper futures ease, test one and half week low

COMEX Copper futures eased today to test one and half week low amid mixed equities. Shrinking inventories have supported the counter recently, taking it to record highs. The red metal currently trades down 0.39% at $6.59 per pound. MCX Copper is also down 0.12% at Rs 1373.50 per kg after testing lows under Rs 1360 per kg in volatile trades. Meanwhile, in Asia, China's Shanghai Composite index fell 0.50%. Hong Kong?s Hang Seng index eased 0.17%. Japanese Nikkei index spiked 1.16%. European stocks moved up modestly. German DAX is up around half a percent. Wall Street stayed just under record high levels. The S&P 500 rose 0.3%. Dow dipped 21 points or less than 0.1% and the Nasdaq composite climbed 0.5% in overall choppy trades.
