Economic Buzz: US Weekly employment up by 8,250; ADP reports

The United States economy added 8,250 jobs on average in the four weeks ending July 25 compared to the previous seven days, Automatic Data Processing Inc. (ADP) revealed in its report published on Tuesday.

The report noted that hiring slowed for the sixth straight week. The previous report showed that private employers added 11,000 jobs in the four weeks ending July 18.
