11-Aug-2026 | 08:19

COMEX copper is attempting rebound from around one-week low on Tuesday morning in Asia as dollar stays subdued as investors continued to assess the outlook for Federal Reserve monetary policy ahead of key US inflation readings following a weak July jobs report. Meanwhile, prices dipped slightly below last week's historic record highs as investors lock in gains. The metal is up around 2.5% this month, broadly supported by falling inventories which fell to six-month low on LME in last session. At the time of writing, the red metal is trading at $6.65 per pound, up half a percent on the day.
