India Meteorological Department or IMD stated in a latest update that fairly Widespread to Widespread rainfall activity with isolated heavy to very heavy falls are likely over Western Himalayan region and adjoining plains of northwest India during the coming week. It noted that rainfall activity is likely to be normal over most parts of Indo-Gangetic plains, Central India, Kerala, and adjoining parts of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, below normal over Northeast India, and near normal over the remaining parts of the country. Overall, Country as a whole, the rainfall is likely to be near normal in next few days.
