Economic Buzz: China's trade surplus widens to $112.5B in July

China's trade surplus expanded to $112.5 billion in July, exceeding forecasts, but lower than the $125.62 billion recorded in the month prior, the nation's General Administration of Customs said in its report published on Friday.

Exports denominated in dollars rose 23.0% on a yearly level, slightly higher than expected, while imports surged 27.5% from the same period of 2025.
