COMEX Copper up around 3% this week

COMEX Copper futures stabilized around two-month high on steady risk appetite in world markets as signs of easing geopolitical pressure offered support. Asian stocks rose today. China's Shanghai Composite index soared 1.47%. Hong Kong?s Hang Seng index added 0.24%. Japan?s Nikkei average jumped 3.70%. European stocks are locked in a tight range. US stocks soared on Tuesday, with the Dow and S&P 500 reaching record highs as strong corporate earnings and falling oil prices boosted risk appetite across the globe. Dow jumped 1.71%, to close at a fresh record of 54,085.88. It has spiked nearly 12% this year. COMEX Copper futures are currently trading at $6.66 per pound, up 0.27% on the day. Copper is up 3% this week.
