Economic Buzz: German business activity returns to growth in July

Germany's private sector activity returned to growth in July, with the Composite Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) Output Index reaching 51.3, S&P Global said in its final report published on Wednesday. The index increased from June's 49.5, returning to expansion.

However, the Services PMI Business Activity Index remained in contraction, registering 49.8 in July, higher than June's 48.6.
