Copper swells above $6.60 mark to hit fresh two-month top

COMEX Copper soared above $6.60 per pound on firm equities and tested around two-month high. The counter currently trades up 1.20% at $6.62 per pound. MCX Copper has also rallied 1.07% at Rs 1361.70 per kg. US economic cues were firm for the metals segment. Economic activity in the US manufacturing sector expanded in July for the seventh consecutive month and at its fastest rate in more than four years, according to the latest ISM Manufacturing PMI Report. The Manufacturing PMI registered 55.6 percent in July, 2.3 percentage points above the June figure and the highest reading since May 2022.
