Gold surges above $4,110; Silver jumps over 2%

Gold futures climbed above $4,110 an ounce in electronic trade on Tuesday, while MCX bullion futures advanced towards ₹1,44,000 per 10 grams. Silver also gained more than 2% to above $59 an ounce, supported by persistent structural supply deficits and a weaker US dollar. Investors continued to monitor developments in US-Iran talks and the possibility of the Strait of Hormuz reopening, with President Donald Trump calling negotiations Tehran?s final opportunity for a deal, while Iran denied direct talks but said discussions with Oman on easing shipping disruptions were progressing. Markets also remained focused on the US Federal Reserve?s rate outlook ahead of the latest JOLTS job openings and international trade data.
