MCX Evening Update: Gold steady, Silver futures witness moderate pressure

MCX Gold futures are trading at Rs 143470 per 10 grams, up 0.07% on the day amid an overall choppy trading session. Highs around Rs 143900 mark capped the upside for the counter. MCX Silver futures are down marginally by 0.10% at Rs 216983 per kg with some selling pressure emerging in last hour. The counter had hit highs above Rs 219000 per kg in morning trades before witnessing consistent decline. Risk appetite is steady today and the DOW futures are up around 1%.
