Natural Gas futures moved up for a second consecutive session after rebounding from a six-month low. Market eyed the US supplies data though overall mood was choppy amid volatile crude oil prices. The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) released its weekly natural gas storage report on July 30, 2026, covering data for the week ending July 24, 2026. According to the EIA, working gas in underground storage across the Lower 48 states totaled 3,084 billion cubic feet (Bcf). This represents a net weekly increase of 28 Bcf compared to the prior week. Current inventories are 32 Bcf lower than the level recorded at the same time last year. However, stocks stand 185 Bcf above the five-year average of 2,899 Bcf. The EIA noted that total working gas remains within the five-year historical range. The commodity is currently trading at $2.78 per mmbtu, up 0.65% on the day.
