Economic Buzz: UK annual house price growth down to 1.8% in July

House prices in the United Kingdom observed an annual rise of 1.8% in July, the latest Nationwide House Price Index published on Friday showed. The figure saw a downward trend from June, when it stood at 2.2%.
Month-on-month, the index improved by 0.1%. The average house price rose from ?277,484 registered in June to ?277,542 in July.
