Commodities Buzz: US weekly natural gas inventories up 28 BCF

Working natural gas in storage across the United States gained by 28 billion cubic feet (BCF) in the week ending July 24, compared to last week, to reach 3,084 billion cubic feet, the Energy Information Administration (EIA) said in its report on Thursday. On an annual level, gas stocks declined 32 billion cubic feet, while remaining 185 billion cubic feet above the five-year average of 2,899 Bcf. The total working gas remains within the five-year historical range.
