Economic Buzz: Eurozone unemployment rate at 6.3% in June

The unemployment rate in the Eurozone remained steady in June at 6.3%, both compared to May and June 2025, according to the latest report by Eurostat published on Thursday. In the European Union, the unemployment rate was also stable at 6%. The number of unemployed people in the EU was estimated at 13.3 million, including 11.1 million in the euro area.
The highest unemployment rates were reported in Finland at 10.5% and in Spain at 10.1%, up by 0.1 and 0.2 percentage points from May. The lowest rates were seen in Bulgaria and Cyprus at 3%. Youth unemployment stood at 15.5% in the EU, up 0.1 point from May, while in the Eurozone it fell by 0.1 point to 14.8%.
