Commodities Buzz: Silver net speculative long positions fall to one-month low

Precious metals speculators reduced their net long positions in the Silver futures markets last week, according to the latest Commitment of Traders (COT) data released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The non-commercial futures contracts of Silver futures, traded by large speculators, hedge funds and retailers, totaled a net position of 23465 contracts in the data reported through July 21, 2026. This was a weekly drop of 1609 net contracts and pulled them to one-month low.
