Economic Buzz: Eurozone one-year inflation expectations down to 3%

Consumer inflation expectations for the next 12 months fell to 3% in the June survey compared to 3.5% in May, the European Central Bank (ECB) said on Friday. Expectations for three years ahead declined 0.1 percentage points to 2.8%. The median rate of perceived inflation over the past 12 months also decreased to 3.6% from 4% in May.
Economic growth expectations over the next 12 months rose from a negative 1.7% to a negative 1.4%. Meanwhile, the unemployment rate is seen falling by 0.1 percentage points from May to 11.2%. Nominal income growth over the next year is projected to stand at 1.1% from 1% in May.
