Australia's employment increased by 76,300 to a record 14.82 million in June 2026, marking the strongest monthly job growth since April and accelerating from May's revised gain of 43,900. Growth was supported by increases in both full-time (+29,300) and part-time (+47,000) employment, while the employment-to-population ratio rose to 64.0% and the participation rate climbed to 67.0%, highlighting continued resilience in the labour market.
