US equities edge higher, Copper extends gains

The US stocks gained on Tuesday, supported by chipmakers, as investors looked through the latest developments in the Iran war to focus on corporate earnings updates. The Dow added 0.7%, while the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite gained 0.7% and 1.1%, respectively. This kept a slight lid on Gold and Silver but benefitted Copper heavily. MCX Gold is up 1.22% at Rs 144139 per 10 grams while Silver zoomed up 2.60% at Rs 223899 per kg. MCX Copper is up 1.77% at Rs 1337.35 per kg.
