Copper edges up from one-week low amid supportive equities

COMEX Copper futures edged up from one-week low amid supportive equities today. The metal is currently trading at $6.33 per pound, up 1% on the day. In Asia, China's Shanghai Composite index added 0.85% while Hong Kong?s Hang Seng index spiked 2.40%. European stocks edged up modestly on Monday. The US stocks were under pressure in last session. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dipped 0.70% on the day and tested around three-week low. Copper dipped more than one percent on Friday but has rebounded impressively today. MCX Copper futures are up 0.89% at Rs 1313.95 per kg.
