Mphasis Ltd soars 1.17%, rises for third straight session

Mphasis Ltd rose for a third straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 2422.3, up 1.17% on the day as on 12:49 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is down around 0.78% on the day, quoting at 24143.5. The Sensex is at 77416.56, down 0.94%. Mphasis Ltd has added around 6.24% in last one month.

Meanwhile, Nifty IT index of which Mphasis Ltd is a constituent, has added around 5.57% in last one month and is currently quoting at 29226.6, down 0.21% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 4.63 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 6.16 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark July futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 2418.5, up 1.04% on the day. Mphasis Ltd is down 13.58% in last one year as compared to a 3.78% fall in NIFTY and a 21.24% fall in the Nifty IT index.

The PE of the stock is 32.03 based on TTM earnings ending March 26.
